May Goals

Well, it's time to get back on track! So far this year I feel like I have just been going with the flow of day to day activities with no real goal or motivating factor behind them. Because of this, I have been in this really weird funk and I'm trying so hard to get out of it. Perhaps this funk is from reverse culture shock or missing Europe but I'm back in the states for at least the next 6 months so it's time to focus on utilizing this time to my advantage.

This month I'm really focused on getting back in shape and blogging. I gained about 10-15 pounds while in Europe. I'm currently at the heaviest weight I've ever been and hate it.
If you've been following this blog for a while, you know I used to post consistently and then posted once every few weeks while in Europe. I would love to get my blog back on track and providing you with some quality content consistently again!

This month, I'm committing to:
+ Working out at least 5 days a week
+ Eliminate as much sugar and sodium from my diet as possible
+ Drink more water or hot tea (at least 3 water bottles per day)
+ Posting on this blog at least 3 times a week (hold me accountable, darlings!)

What are your goals for this month?

Best,
Ashliegh

  2. Hey lady, don't stress too much about your weight! 10-15 lbs is totally worth it if you think of all the awesome adventures you had!

  3. Great goals! I'm hoping your commitments will rub off on me and I'll be able to shed several pounds as well!

  4. Awesome, awesome goals! I can totally relate to the weirdness after being back from Europe. I still feel like it's weird, even though I've been in the U.S. for exactly one year now today. I've learned that the weirdness turns into a good weird, if that helps any! When I came back from being abroad, the two things I also focused on were blogging and getting back in shape. So I definitely feel ya girl! Let me know if you want to chat about anything! Happy May to you! :)

  5. Gaining weight is actually a blessing because now you have a now you have a new focus for when you travel. "Eating Healthy In...." and there you go! Make an "Eat This Not That" for the menu's and remember to do things in moderation.

Blogging is going to be the hard part because for me it is impossible to blog about other things when you're not traveling. It just doesn't feel as good as loading up the blog with photo's and writing a three sentence blurb and moving on. I find I end up either posting a rant or opinion piece or something blog related. How terribly boring! haha Hopefully you'll have some bright ideas and I look forward to reading them.
