Summer Style: Swimsuits

Swimsuit: C/O ASOS (Top, Bottom)
Maxi Dress: Charlotte Russe (similar in Coral)
Sandals: Jack Rogers (On sale for $69 right now!)
Sunglasses: Old

Lately, I have been dreaming of the beach and summertime - especially with planning a trip to Hilton Head with my Little Emily! I don't know about you but I live for summer weather and summer fashion - beach bags, sandals, sunglasses, sundresses, and swimsuits, of course! What's even more exciting is I am now a proud owner of a pair of Jack Rogers sandals. After being on my graduation wish list, I found them on sale at Neiman Marcus Last Call. They go perfectly with my new ASOS swimsuit that I want to wear to the!

I confess, my obsession with ruffles is getting real. After looking through all of the adorable swimsuits that ASOS offers (which is literally a gazillion!), when I found this periwinkle ruffle bikini, I knew it was meant to be. The ruffles and color make it girly, while the razorback and front tie (rather than tying in the back) makes it unique and a bit edgy! The triangle top runs a bit small, so busty girls beware!

As I said, ASOS has so many swimsuits in their collections, I could probably spend days just looking through all of the pages! My favorite collection ASOS offers is the South Beach brand swimsuits. Many of the suits in this collection are very girly with ruffles, floral prints, and eyelet and crochet fabrics. Another plus - they're affordable and there's suits for every budget whether that be $30 or over  a hundred. These are a few of my other (affordable) favorites from the collection:

Which is your favorite swimsuit? What swimsuit trends are you loving this season?

Light Up My Life

This weekend was one for the lists. It was probably one of my favorite weekends of college, ever, as it was also my last. It was an emotional roller coaster of a weekend but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Graduation is less than two weeks away and I'm feeling very bittersweet about it right now. Ashland University has become my home for the past 4 years and I'm going to miss it dearly. While I won't be missing class so much, I will be missing the friends I have made over the years and praying that I keep in touch with them.

Anyways, the weekend kicked off on Thursday night. The seniors in my sorority had our Wills Night. This is where we "will" down items that we want to pass down to younger members of the chapter. Before we went to the "ceremony," seniors celebrated at the local half price margarita night.

Friday night was Alpha Phi's formal! My very last formal could not have been better! Our chapter really makes it special for the seniors, complete with senior superlatives (I won the Nomad Award because I'm not in the same place for more than like...five minutes) and my littles Emily and Emma wrote me beautiful letters. Of all the fraternity and sorority formals I've been to in the past 4 years, this was my absolute favorite.

My Alpha Phi and Phi Kappa Psi family is so huge and beautiful! Christian and I are definitely leaving a legacy at Ashland.

Of course, Rachael and I had to get a pic!

The weekend ended with my last sorority meeting. It was incredibly emotional because it was basically a big heart-to-heart sesh with 80+ women. It was amazing and I feel so honored to have so many amazing women in my life. After the meeting, we lit paper lanterns. I'm so glad I was able to share that moment with my little Emily, Grandlittle Chelsea, Great-Grandlittle Hannah, and two of my favorite younger sisters Haley and Megan. It was just a gorgeous night and I have never felt so loved in my life.

Alpha Phi has truly lit up my life with beautiful friendships and memories. While I'm not quite ready to move on from my collegiate years of Alpha Phi, I am excited for all the opportunities that this organization will continue to present through out my life. I can't wait to be an advisor one day!

Graduation Wish List

It's crazy to think that in less than three weeks, I'll be completing my undergraduate career! I'm nervous, excited, and nostalgic. College has given me many wonderful memories and friendships, while also being a lot of hard work. College graduation is definitely an accomplishment worth celebrating. Here are things I hope to buy/receive in celebration!

Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg - This has been on my "to read" list for too long! I'm a total nerd when it comes to self-help and leadership books. I think "Lean In" would be the perfect gift for any graduate - high school or college!

Subscription to PicMonkey Royal - PicMonkey is a fantastic program that I use to create all of my graphics on this blog. Currently, I just utilize the free version and would love to have access to all the fonts, overlays, and features that PicMonkey Royal offers!

Sentimental Stuff - Handwritten letters, etc. - I'm a total sucker for a good handwritten note! I have kept many notes that I've received from friends and family over the years in my memory box. These types of things mean so much to me and are probably my favorite items on this wish list!

Michael Kors Handbag - While I love my pink Kate Spade handbag, Michael Kors bags just scream professional! The structure of the bags make it perfect to carry to my future 9 to 5 "big girl" job.

Kate Spade Bow Bangle - I think I've featured this bangle in three posts now...lawd, someone take a hint! :p

The Collegiate Standard Alpha Phi Badge Ring - Alpha Phi was a huge part of my collegiate experience. While I won't be wearing sorority tee shirts around all the time, this dainty ring is simple enough that I can wear it as an alumna (and hopefully advisor one day)! You can use code GOGREEK10 for 10% off your purchase.

Jack Rogers Sandals - How is it that I don't already own a pair of these preppy essentials? I'll be going to Hilton Head this summer with one of my Littles and I'm very tempted to finally make this investment.

Lilly Pulitzer Elephant Flash Drive - Ok, who doesn't love Lilly's Tusk in the Sun print?! It's basically perfect. A flash drive with the elephant is a stylish and preppy way to transfer and save important documents from work and home.

Are you graduating this spring? What's on your wish list?

Sponsor Spotlight - Meet Kat!

Kat, the blogger behind Kat Katastrophe, is new to the blogosphere and she's proving to me that this world is seriously small! She's IRL friends with my BFF Rachael and lives pretty close to me! It's a wonder how we haven't met up yet though!

Kat is a college student and created an awesome list of 10 things to do while you're in college. I'm proud to say I've completed 9 of them. She also has an impressive nail polish collection and has found the perfect shade of nude nail polish. #want #need. Stop by her blog or social media and say "hi!"

Maybelline Falsies Mascara
New York Color Expert Last Lipstick C/O Influenster

Bow Bracelet: Oh So Bow Bracelets
Peach Gem Bracelet: Deb Stores (Similar on sale at Urban Peach Boutique - code Sale50 for 50% off!)

Handbag: Kate Spade

The mall had some killer sales this past weekend, making it a great time to start investing in my post-grad wardrobe. New York & Company is a store that I've always enjoyed window shopping from. They were having a 50% off everything sale so I used that to my advantage.

I came home with two button ups, the light blue one featured in these photos and a basic white one. I also may or may not have squealed when I found these adorable soft shorts, thoroughly embarrassing my little brother. Since my friends weren't back home from college, my little brother agreed to accompany me to the mall. He's truly the best.

For make up, I used my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation and primer. Seriously LOVE this new line from Rimmel! I then went about my normal beauty routine with contouring with bronzer and blush. My New York Color Expert Last lipstick completed the look.

Sponsor Spotlight - Meet Allison!

Allison, the blogger behind Because I Said So, is absolutely adorable and I'm so glad to have her on the sidebar for the past two months! She's the first blogger I've ever chatted with on a Google Hangout and it was awesome! It was great to have the opportunity to chat about blogging with another person who gets it!

Allison is a recent grad who has a "big girl job" and an apartment to decorate. She's a total shopaholic and loves blogging, sounds like me, right?! We're practically the same person, except she already graduated. Allison is totally sweet and you should definitely check out her humorous post featuring family photo bloopers from this Easter weekend...we've all been there!

College Life: How to Prepare a Study Guide

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BIC 4-Color pen for Social Spark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Finals Week is quickly approaching which means there is an unfortunate amount all-nighters coming. I quickly learned my freshman year that creating a study guide, rather than dozens of notecards, was the best way for me to study for unbearable classes. With only three weeks left of school and this being my last finals week ever, I thought I would share some of my tips for preparing study guides so you can pass your finals and celebrate surviving the cruelest week in education!

Pomp & Circumstance

Dress (sold out) // Pumps // Earrings // Kate Spade Bow Bangle

With graduation just weeks away, it's definitely time to figure out what to wear under the traditional  graduation garb. I purchased this striped dress as part of the #MacysCampusTour campaign with graduation in mind. The dress is out of stock now so good thing I picked it up back in March

I'm looking for the perfect accessories to go with this dress so I chose heels in the same shade of pink as the stripes. I think statement earrings would look great with this rather than a necklace. Since the belt has gold tips on the ends, a Kate Spade Bow Bangle would be the perfect arm candy! Yes, I've featured this bracelet before. I really want it, ok?! Graduation gift, anyone?

Are you graduating this semester? What do you plan to wear?

With Love,

This post is sponsored by Macy's. The opinions expressed are 100% honest and my own.

College Life: Where I Work

After doing some spring cleaning, I thought it would be time to show you my work space! My desk is usually a landing ground for random things throughout the day so it was starting to get very cluttered. I finally had the opportunity to clean it last week, thank goodness! I gave you a room tour back in January so it's about time that I got around to this post before I move out in May and have to start all over again!

1. Where is your favorite workspace located? (Library, apartment, dorm room?)
I'm a nomad of sorts when it comes to where I complete my homework. I often do my homework from the comforts of my couch in my apartment or in my sorority's suite (we don't have houses). I also get a lot of work done on Sunday evenings in a conference room on campus where I run study tables for my sorority.

This is my adorable desk! It's right by the back door to my house so it frequently becomes an unloading place where I just dump mail, books, packages, etc. The pink elephants are my favorite desk accessories and friends often describe them as the "house mojo," haha!

2. Do you prefer a sleek desk or you more of an “organized chaos” kind of person?
I wish I could be the sort to have a sleek and beautifully organized desk. Unfortunately, I wasn't blessed by the OCD gods to have organization skills so my desk is often in an "organized chaos" state.

Picked up my graduation cap and gown last week! How do you think I should decorate my mortarboard?

Just some trinkets from recent travels!

I love when my sorority little sisters craft and I am so proud that they all inherited my fabulous crafting skills. ;p

3. What is your favorite kind of writing utensil?
I really love pens of all sorts - colored pens, black pens, pretty get the idea. Recently, Influenster sent me the Acroball PureWhite pen. It's my current favorite pen to use for taking notes and writing my to do list as it writes really smooth. The Acroball PureWhite pens come in Pantone-inspired colors which makes them really fun to use. Its great for homework and writing in your planner but if you're one of those people who clicks your pen constantly, don't take this pen to class, as it might annoy your classmates!

4. Show us your calendar or agenda!

Where is your favorite place to work?

With Love,
