Darlings! You NEED to meet Rachael, one of my best friends and sorority sisters! We have made a lot of great memories these past few years in college and I'm so grateful to call this girl my friend! Rachael blogs at The Rachael Way where I have a guest post, too!
Hey everyone! My name is Rachael and I blog over at The Rachael Way. I blog about Carrie Bradhsaw, my love for nail polish, life, friendship and all things pink! I'm super excited to be doing a blog swap with my girl Ashliegh! We are sorority sisters and real life friends!

1. Be overly friendly to everyone you meet
I have made a huge effort to be overly friendly to everyone I've met. From the lady at the store to people at the gym, I try and be nice and talk to people (without being creepy!). Who knows, you might meet a guy at Starbucks, like I did ;)
2. Enjoy time by yourself
My favorite part so far of being in ATL has been my ability to really love spending time by myself. I have been able to work on my hobbies (like blogging and reading), have worked out a lot and had time to call friends every day. I'm so grateful for this time for self reflection. If you move to a new city and don't know a lot of people, it's okay to enjoy time by yourself and do the things YOU want to do!
|Spending time by the pool is also my favorite thing to do!|
3. Reach out!
I'm very lucky in that the first week that I got here I was able to get a job. A coworker reached out to me and planned a fun girl date for us! We went out to a local area, went shopping and had a delicious dinner! I'm really grateful that she did that and I will always remember her kindness!
I also have family in Atlanta, besides the one I am staying with, so I reached out to them and got to spend the night at their house. You probably know someone where you are moving, so definitely use those connections.
4. Join a gym/club
I decided that a good way to battle boredom would be working out! I joined a gym, and also a church group. This will hopefully help me meet people, lose some weight, etc. Gyms really aren't as expensive as you thought!
5. Take up a hobby
I've had so much time to watch my favorite shows! My favorites are Dance Moms, The Bachelorette and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Whether your hobby is a new TV show, writing a book, practicing your makeup skills or crafting for your little, own it! You've got all the time now!
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out my blog to see Ashliegh's post!
I'd love if you followed me on my adventures this summer and beyond!
Thanks for guest posting, Rachael! Make sure to check out her blog, Darlings!
