Gatsby? What Gatsby?

Button up: Hand me down
Skirt: made by me!
Shoes: thrift shop
Watch: Charming Charlie's
Necklace: Old
Sunglasses: T.J. Maxx

So in case you didn't hear, The Great Gatsby hit theaters this weekend! I loved every second of the glitz and glitter filled 1920's inspired movie! Elizabeth Debicki as Jordan Baker was my favorite character as she was so glamorous and mysterious and I just loved her sultry style!

Did you see The Great Gatsby this weekend? Who was your favorite character?

  1. Love the skirt and the fact that you made it!!! I am actually reading The Great Gatsby now and loving it (and no I never had to read it for school which is weird since everyone I know did). I hope to see the movie soon. Glad you liked it!

    1. Thank you! I made it from an old dress! The top part of the dress no longer fit me well so I just cut that part off and fixed a new hem and BOOM! I had a wonderful skirt! Haha!

  3. Cute outfit! Love the necklace too. I saw Gatsby twice already and it was just as good the second time! Now I want to attend Gatsby's parties and steal Daisy's wardrobe. :)

    1. Twice!?! #jealous! I loved it the first time and would love to go see it again to catch things that I might have missed the first time! Those party scenes were pretty incredible, weren't they!? I could only imagine attending a glamorous glitter-filled party at a mansion like Gatsby's!
